Kirsten Wilmink’s bright photos are often centered around the family and inside the home. Some of the common themes include alcohol, animals and food. Within her works she deals with family and social life, friendship, relationship between man and woman, history and culture.
In her photos she depicts clichés and the existing prejudices about people and the everyday life in which she uses her own family members as models. 
Her images are very intriguing, witty, hyperrealistic parodies and often filled with hidden symbology.Title:
